No matter the market, sea views never go out of fashion. But, they usually come with a premium price tag. Not so with this budget beach-side selection I’ve found.
Here’s my trio of the sea-side lovelies soon to be sold under the hammer.
Lower Ground Floor Flat, St. Agathas, Esplanade, Tenby, Dyfed, SA70 7DU
Guide: £110k+
If it’s sea front you’re after – then it’s sea front you’ll get with this flat!
Admittedly, this two bedroom flat is on the lower ground floor of this period terraced building, but this enviable location on the sea front overlooking Tenby’s magnificent South Beach really is something. It’s also situated just yards from the historic town walls with it’s meandering cobbled streets, picturesque harbour and long sandy beaches.
The property does require some improvement works, but given comparable properties are on the market for way more money, this place could be a shore thing (!)

Erminhurst, 5 East Cliff Road, Dawlish, Devon, EX7 0BP
Guide: £235k+
What’s not to love about this Victorian Semi-Detached Villa in Dawlish, Devon with sea views?
OK, so the property has been converted into two flats without the necessary consents – which is a hurdle you need to overcome – but seriously, just take a look at the potential of this place!
It could be super sea-view cool!
Offering a jaw-droppingly huge 422 sqm (4540 sq ft) of accommodation; on the ground floor you have a porch, entrance hall, 3 reception rooms, kitchen, sun room, study, 2 bedrooms and a bathroom. On the first floor there is a reception room, kitchen/diner, 5 bedrooms a bathroom and a shower room. Plus you have a garden and parking.
Which, I think you’ll agree, is ample room for most people!

Land Adj. Compass South, Ilsham Marine Drive, Torquay, Devon, TQ1 2HA
Guide: £90-£100k
Stunning.
I think that’s the most appropriate word which sums up the view and this opportunity to buy a cliff-top swathe of amenity land. Measuring 0.38 hectares (0.94 acres) and located in one of the most favoured residential locations in the Bay, this land offers breathtaking coastal sea views.
So what can you do with it?
As amenity land it’s mainly going to appeal to those who are looking for a recreational retreat area. However, if you put your clever-thinking cap on, there may be some sort of development scheme you could get consent for.
Either way, I can think of worse places in the world to have a picnic!

Ive bought a couple of properties with sea views for another company. Granted, sometimes you need to be on the roof to see it, but its there.
I lived for a while in an apartment with a view of the Tyne. Lovely it was. As long as the neighbour across the way left their curtains open so i could see through their flat.
