5 Wonderfully Weird UK Holiday Lettings

I totally heart airbnb.

In fact, I don’t think I have ever spent a more pleasurable time looking for somewhere to stay!  The variety is tantalising – and some of the prices are definitely drool-worthy!  I’ve opted to stay in a boat themed Coastguard cottage this time – but my wish-list is well and truly pumped!

Anyway, it would be rude if I didn’t share some of the beautifully bizarre places you can rent if you fancy something a little bit different for your summer holidays this year!

Bogancloch Tree House (Scotland)

This 1960s’ touring caravan was hoisted into the tree for a film – now there is a double and single bed – and a great view!

Unique Boutique Top Floor Flat (London)

It’s so refreshing for the word ‘unique’ to actually have real meaning – this flat in N15 has a definite eclectic, creative mix – and is a snip from £55 per night.

Stay in George Best’s Family Home (Castlereagh)

16 Burren Way is the childhood home of footballer George Best.  It remained the family home until George’s father passed away in 2008 – now available for memorabilia memorable holiday lettings.

I had to do a double take on this as I thought it was a dolls caravan!! The cuteness and “adorability” of this holiday letting is even more cute and more adorable than Buzzfeed’s latest top cutest/most adorable lists.

Billed as a “magic bus” which sleeps 5 – the interior is resplendent with enchanted vintage designs and, I’d hazard a guess some supernatural going-ons have occurred for this wonderful rental to now be available!
