This is me: I’m Sam Collett aka What Sam Saw Today
I laugh and smile alot. I like to have fun and to make money along the way.
I love property, and I especially love property auctions!
I’ve been in the property business almost 10 years now, having quit a successful career in marketing when they gave me a £15k pay out.
I adore writing – I started this blog after being in Stylist magazine for a feature of “Work/Life” – I was overwhelmed by the interest in my life and was happy to share.
I am amazed and thrilled by the amount of awards this little blog has won, not to mention The Telegraph featuring it as a Top 10 Home & Property blog. I am delighted and humbled people take the time to read my stories – and I love it even more when they take part.
Now I write more than ever – I have a regular column with the Evening Standard Homes & Property, and a book publishing deal for a property auction guide due for publication in spring 2014.
I am an award winning landlord (NLA Women in Property award) with properties scattered from London to Lincoln to Liverpool and probably many other places in between.
I am also a proud ex-letting agency owner – in 2007 I founded Gorgeous Homes from scratch which I successfully sold in November 2012.
I love social media – I am a regular tweeter @whatsamsawtoday and I am also the founder/owner of a big online property forum: “Landlord Network” on LinkedIn.
Last, but not least – I love hearing from people and sharing stories – so do get in touch: firstname.lastname@example.org
